Seizing this historic opportunity, Visa aimed to transcend its identity beyond being a mere payment provider, launching the global campaign 'For Fans Everywhere'. Commissioned by Imagination, together we developed an accessible, innovative experience at the FIFA Fan Festival in Doha that welcomed participation from everyone.

Innovating at the Intersection of Football, Art, & Technology

The essence of the project, Visa Masters of Movement, was to merge athletic prowess with digital creativity, using cutting-edge technology to turn football movements into dynamic digital art, instantly mintable as NFTs. This process began with state-of-the-art tracking technology capturing every detail on the pitch - from player movements to the ball's trajectory. The collected data fueled an algorithm designed to generate live visualisations of these movements, culminating in the creation of digital masterpieces, ready to be minted as NFTs.

Highlighting Icons & Empowering Fans

Prior to the tournament, legendary football moves from icons like Michael Owen and Carli Lloyd were transformed into digital art pieces and auctioned as NFTs on Crypto.com, benefiting Street Child United. In Doha, the Visa Masters of Movement arena became a canvas for fans, allowing them to represent their countries and create art through their movements, monitored in real-time and displayed on our immersive LED arena.

A Memorable, Interactive Fan Experience

Participants had the chance to immortalize their performance as digital art, minted as NFTs and transferred to their Crypto.com wallets - a novel, personalized memento of their World Cup journey.
