Little Mix Glory Days
Pop sensations Little Mix have been filling stadiums around the world once again this year in support of their fourth studio album Glory Days. To accompany a setlist full of hits dandelion + burdock created the screen content for the show.
Featuring pre-filmed footage shot by Kode Red Meda, 3D motion graphics and real-time iMag integration, the brief was to create content that would give the show a high-end, fashion aesthetic. Featuring a single 6000px screen, the content we created was a mixture of video edits and motion graphics. As no separate screens were available our task was to bring the live camera into the content.
The biggest challenge presented to us this time around was finding ways to integrate the live cameras into our 3D content in real-time. Not wanting to make any sacrifices in the content meant having to think outside of the box to create 3D scenes which would take the live camera and remap it into our scenes. Utilising disguise media server’s UV tools and some behind the scenes wizardry allowed us to pre-rendered content and embed the live camera into it, allowing us to keep our edits as elaborate as possible but still keeping the real-time camera present at all times.
