Lincoln Future Lab
Continuing our long running partnership with Imagination we created and developed an interactive installation for the Lincoln Pavilion at the Shanghai Auto Show.
The intention behind the Immersive Pavilion experience was born from the desire to find more opportunities to be expressive with product displays. The overarching design concept for the Pavilion was ‘Future Lab’ and at the heart of it was a giant 5 metre tall LED screen.
This dynamic multimedia installation, inspired by Lincoln’s new Human Machine Interface (HMI), took guests on a journey through the different modes of the interface.
Captured by motion sensors, the multi person experience invited guests to interact with elegant floating stars, twisting nebulas and biomorphic cosmic winds.
The interactive elements were built with Notch and layered on top of pre-rendered volumetric clouds. The whole experience was compiled into a TouchDesigner application which was connected to a staff controlled kiosk to trigger and capture the experience for the guests.
