Ford NAIAS 2014
The US car industry is fiercely competitive and press events at motor shows are bigger and better than ever before. For 2014’s North American International Auto Show, Ford hired out the entire Joe Lewis Arena, a NHL stadium for their press conference. Large scale events like this need the group input from the greatest of minds in both creative and technical fields to ensure its success.
Specialising in automotive solutions, production company Gail & Rice have been creating integrated brand-building experiences for more than 75 years and have produced an amazing 17 shows for the Ford Motor Company.
Debuting the all-new F150 pick-up truck, the conference was to be 3d mapped and projected on a custom built set spanning the the width of an NHL ice rink. We were tasked with creating a workflow for the content house Switchpost, and consulted and oversaw the projection setup for the team from Tekamaki.
