Fitbit CES 2016
Fitbit, the leader in the connected health and fitness market, unveiled the Fitbit Blaze™ smart fitness watch, its smartest, most stylish, most motivating fitness tracker yet at CES 2016. The latest addition to Fitbit’s award-winning line of innovative devices, Fitbit Blaze is a smart fitness watch built to help you make the most of your workouts.
Launched at the Sands Convention Centre at CES 2016 in Las Vegas, the booth designed by set designers Russian Doll was made up of 36 different screens. We were brought in to produce content for these impressive array of screens.
The centrepiece of the stand was a giant LED watch face which was to display the different screens and functions of the new device. This presented a challenge as the client was very keen to display the actual time rather than play a pre-rendered video. To solve this, with additional help from the wonderful Rachel Binx, we rebuilt the screens in HTML5 using d3.js and css to style the different functions we needed to run through.
Above and beside the watch face were a series of curved LED screens. The top circular LED screen acting as a marquee to help visitors way find and the panels either side of the watch face to display the different watch bands on offer as well as show the latest tv commercial.
Inside the booth we a series of tiled Brightsign screens tiled together to showcase the new product lineup.
The booth's AV requirements were masterminded by the wonderful team from Creative Technology.
